NYC Wedding in Greenwich Village and Chelsea Neighborhood

Nick + Matt’s Wedding Story:

The day was absolutely perfect for Matt and Nick’s wedding! We started at their apartment where they helped each other get fly. Just the three of us in the apartment, with me taking pictures as the anticipation of the wedding day was building up.

We then walked through their Greenwich Village neighborhood from the apartment to the church, stopping along the way at The Stonewall Inn for a quick picture. If you don’t know the history behind The Stonewall Inn and it’s role in the gay-rights movement, please look it up.

Everyone in the streets of the West Village was so cool and congratulating them, shouting and applauding, with me as their paparazzi.

The church where the ceremony took place, St Lukes in the Fields, was incredible! It was my first time there and I was in awe of how gorgeous not just the inside of the church is, but their botanical garden in the back. You’ll see in the family pictures below. Another NYC location with so much history!

Then the three of us hopped in a cab and went to the reception at La Sirena Bar in the Maritime Hotel, starting first at their penthouse room where they changed suits and pre-gamed with their squad. The rest of the night was a full-on party complete with a live band, culture traditional performances, and everyone, friends and family, getting down on the dance floor. A true celebration of love and happiness!
