So happy to share Gina and Randy’s super cute engagement session!
How this came to be is rather unique. I got contacted by Gina’s wedding planner, asking if I was available not for their wedding, but for an engagement session. Gina and Randy live in Ohio but were visiting Orlando and wanted to get a couple’s shoot done while down here. Gina specifically wanted to do the session at Disney’s Boardwalk during sunset. Although the day was cloudy so we didnt get a see a sunset, we still got some cute pictures 😉
I was excited from the jump because Disney’s Boardwalk is one of my favorite Disney properties for engagement pictures. It looks like a 1920’s boardwalk, with a lighthouse and everything, but it’s not overly “Disney-ish.” Meaning, there’s not a lot of branding around the boardwalk which says you’re at a Disney property. Other than the restaurant names, there isn’t any Disney branding at all really. It just looks like a vintage boardwalk, which I love. And for engagement pictures, not only is it spacious with all the cute views, but it’s usually not that crowded, at least compared to the parks or Disney Springs. The crowds are lot smaller.
What I love the most about Disney’s Boardwalk is that everytime I do an engagement session there, I always find something new. Whether it’s the lighthouse, the lake, the vintage architecture, the cute little shops, the arcade games, the inside of the resort, etc; there’s always to much explore and I always find new photo spots. 🙂
I’m a passholder, holla for photo shoot!
